Experience

Tracy Tomasetti is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has 16 years of experience helping adults achieve their goals through education. She has extensive experience working with students to define what it takes to elevate their career. Two years ago, Tracy felt the need to assist students on a deeper level, and elevated her own education by completing a second master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and school counseling through National Louis University. Her yearlong internship was in a high school assisting students with academic, social emotional, and college/career needs. Education did not always come easy to Tracy. She struggled with learning at a young age and had to overcome many obstacles. As she went through her educational journey, Tracy realized there are many people who struggle with education and life situations. This revelation drove Tracy to want to help people on a deeper level.

Personal

Tracy has an empathetic, humanistic, supportive approach to counseling. She understands that counseling is not one size fits all. Each person comes to counseling with their own story and Tracy hears that story authentically, with an open mind. Tracy’s goal is to assist children and adults persevere through their struggles using traditional and non-traditional therapies. Alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Tracy integrates alternative therapies such as art and breath work to enhance the therapeutic process.

Family

Tracy is married with two middle school children and has a large extended family. She understands how messy life can be at times. She is here to help clients work through the mess so they can live life with gratitude and purpose. In her free time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her family outdoors. Tracy also has a love of doing art in the form of painting and cake decorating.
